Do you thrive in fast‑paced operational environments where safety, precision, and collaboration are critical? APM Terminals is hiring a Bunker Superintendent to support bunkering operations onboard container vessels calling designated terminals. This position is based in Rotterdam and offered on a fixed‑term contract of 12 months with APM Terminals. At APM Terminals, a global leader in port and terminal operations, we enable global trade and drive sustainable growth. What drives us forward is a mindset of always improving. We constantly look for smarter, simpler, and safer ways of operating. You will join a diverse, multinational operational environment where hands‑on expertise matters, and where your direct involvement onboard vessels makes a tangible difference to safety, reliability, and performance.
The role - Bunker Superintendent
You will board vessels during port stays to plan, supervise, and execute bunkering operations, relieving vessel crews in line with MLC rest hour requirements and ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution. This is a shore‑based role with onboard duties during port calls (not a sailing position).
