In your job you will work for the offshore energy division. Boskalis has one of the largest global fleets of specialized offshore vessels, allowing us to carry out a broad range of offshore activities. We provide innovative and sustainable all-round solutions to tackle major worldwide maritime challenges. Our Offshore Energy division supports sustainable energy solutions such as wind energy as well as traditional fossil facilities. We’re involved in the entire journey from developing and transporting to maintaining and decommissioning these facilities.
Make your mark as Commercial Manager Heavy Marine Transport at Boskalis Offshore Energy!
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to drive new business opportunities and market growth in the heavy marine transport sector. You get the opportunity to work on international and 'one of a kind' projects which often get media exposure. In your role you will work both in the renewable energy market as well as O&G projects.
For the renewable energy market you will be active in the transportation of the worlds largest Offshore Wind Foundations and Substations. This can be transportation only, or in an integrated approach most often in cooperation with colleagues from the Offshore Heavy Lifting department for a full T&I solution. Clients are mostly defined as the major developers.
For the O&G market, you will work on the transportation of fixed platforms, most often in combination with a float-over installation. Clients are mostly defined as the large well-known O&G majors, EPCI’s or Fabrication Yards globally.
For both markets, you, together with your team of experts, will negotiate contracts recognized as (heavily amended) BIMCO Heavycon/Supplytime, client-specific formats or Fidic for full T&I solutions. The sales phase can be fast-track, but are often recognized as an extensive process which requires a combination of perseverance, pro-activeness and patience, balanced for the specific needs of the client and opportunity.
In your role, you will also collaborate with other departments within Boskalis, in order to acquire multidisciplinary projects.
