Set up and model basic engineering packages for piping systems in a 3D environment,
Detailed Engineering and Production Support: Develop detailed engineering packages and production information based on the basic design, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Update engineering packages as needed, providing technical advice and support to both internal and external stakeholders.
Engage with various disciplines to ensure that piping solutions are optimized for the overall project.
Identify potential issues, suggest improvements, and contribute to design reviews to ensure project success.
Ensure all designs meet applicable requirements and contribute to the ongoing development and retention of knowledge within the department.
Skills & experience
Bachelor or Master degree combined with at three years relevant experience in piping systems engineering, ideally gained within shipbuilding or offshore installations.
Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, with hands-on experience in modelling and designing complex piping systems.
Experience in working on high-end vessels, managing complex projects, and ensuring compliance with statutory bodies and regulations.
Good command of the English language both written and verbal.
