Carrier Marine and Offshore Systems provide advanced air conditioning products and systems for everything from cruise ships to offshore platforms and oil tankers. For this division, we're looking for a Sales Engineer HVAC.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote) role for a Sales Engineer – HVAC located in Rotterdam.

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, developing and maintaining customer relationships, and driving sales of HVAC equipment & project solutions. Day-to-day tasks include identifying customer needs, presenting and demonstrating product solutions, selecting equipment and collaborating with internal & external teams to ensure customer satisfaction. The role requires effective communication with customers and stakeholders, and continuous pursuit of opportunities to grow the business. We are an entrepreneurial & international team and are looking for someone eager to learn and help drive the growth we experience in this segment. Critical equipment the candidate will require knowledge of: chillers, air handling units, fan coil units, condensing units.

Qualifications

  • Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills

  • Proven experience in Sales and Customer Service

  • Excellent Communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

  • MBO/HBO/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

  • Experience in the HVAC industry

  • Experience in the Maritime industry is a plus

  • Fluency in English, Dutch (or another language) is a plus
